Abby Freiburger
Abby is a 12-year-old vocalist making her concert debut with Singer Studio. She has discovered a real love for singing this year and is excited to keep growing her voice. When she isn’t singing, she can be found on the hockey rink, reading, or spending time with her family. Abby hopes to continue performing and growing as a musician. She would like to thank Jen and the Singer Studio team for supporting her on this journey.

Alex Salois
Alex is a music teacher with the Waterloo Region District School Board and a passionate performer with a love for musical theatre. Past roles include Nigel in Something Rotten, Bob Enright in 9 to 5 and Count Leopold in Anastasia. Alex is currently music directing Dogfightand can't seem to stop doing musical theatre! He is thrilled to be sharing the stage and singing alongside friends in this showcase!

Amrita Badial
Amrita is so excited to be participating in Singer Studio’s concert. She’s been singing with Jen since she was six years old, and has participated in many of her projects including a 2019 music video covering Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry.”

Antonio Kartalianakis
While Antonio isn’t technically a student of Singer Studio (big shoutout to Tom Oliver / Voice Concepts)… he is a big supporter of the studio and is thrilled to share the stage with such incredible performers! Rumour has it he also happens to like performing with the studio owner. Recent credits include: Evita & Jesus Christ Superstar (Brott Music Festival);Legally Blonde, The Sound of Music, and Spamalot (Theatre Ancaster). Antonio is incredibly proud of each and every one of the singers and all of their hard work. Enjoy the show!

Ashlyn Brown
Ashlyn is a dedicated musical theatre performer and vocalist. Recent credits include soloist at the Oakville Vocal Music Festival, Karen in Mean Girls Jr., and ensemble in Grease Jr. (KooGle Theatre Company). Further credits include the Bird Woman in Mary Poppins Jr., and Glee choralist (Theatre Ancaster). When she is not performing, she enjoys Stranger Things, musicals, and romance novels.

Avery Arruda
Avery is a newcomer to Singer Studio and is working hard to build her knowledge and skill for singing. Her love for theatre and performing shines through, especially when she is on stage. Avery has been cast twice as Gretel in the Sound Of Music and is excited for what’s next to come.

Bianca Hopkins
Bianca is in her 9th year with Singer Studio and is so excited to perform with everyone again! As a 4th year student at the University of Toronto, Bianca still finds time to perform, placing first in the NATS Ontario Showcase this past November. Recent credits include: Heathers (February 2025), Spring Awakening (September 2025) with two upcoming shows: Footloose and Mean Girls with Hart House. Thank you to her friends and family for always supporting her, hope you enjoy!

Colin O'Rourke
Colin has loved singing since childhood and took an interest for musical theatre in 2017. Throughout his highschool years, he has played roles such as Billy Flynn (Chicago), Pseudolus (A Funny Thing Happened...), and Harry (Mamma Mia!). Colin is thrilled to make his second appearance at a singer studio recital.

Hadley Gardiner
Hadley has been singing since she was a toddler! Now a passionate 10-year old Swiftie, she is thrilled to be coached by Jen. Special thanks to her family for all the love and support.

Janet Delsey
Janet is excited for her first Singer Studio concert. For more than 30 years, she has enjoyed singing and dancing her way through numerous productions. Since co‑founding the Theatre Ancaster Chorus in 2013, she has loved being part of this fabulous ensemble, presenting Let It Snow this weekend! She is also rehearsing My Fair Lady and Seven Generations. Thanks to Jen for her encouragement, mentorship and the unexpected anatomy lessons.

Janette Patterson
Janette is delighted to be taking part in her second Singer Studio performance. Since January 2025, she has been honing her vocal skills under the expert guidance of Jen and is thrilled with the progress she’s making. A lifelong music enthusiast, Janette has been singing with various ensembles since the age of 16 and also enjoys playing the piano. She loves using her musical gifts in the service of God and for her church family, often sharing her talent during Sunday worship. Away from the stage, Janette keeps busy with her husband and three boys, balancing family life with her passion for music.

Jayda January
Jayda is a talented singer and pianist. She loves caring for animals, playing sports, and exploring anything related to the arts. Recent credits include Soloist - the Hamilton Music Festival (2025), Group Ensemble - the Hamilton Music Festival (2023, 2025), and the children’s vocal ensemble in the Brott Music Festival's "Evita" (2024). Jayda is excited to join the cast of Glee in 2026 with Theatre Ancaster!

Jaydene Lavallie
Jaydene is a mom of one incredible kid and a very amateur singer. She likes long walks, ice cream, and friendship.

Jenn Wearden
Jenn is a 20-year-old vocalist with Myriad Ensemble in Burlington. She finds joy in both solo and choral performance, and wishes to thank Jen Budd for her generous guidance and for the opportunity to share her music in this recital.

Kaelyn Campbell
Kaelyn is excited to perform in her second concert. She began lessons at Singer Studio in December 2024 and recently participated in the Hamilton Music Festival. Singing has always been a joyful, expressive outlet for her—both on stage and just for fun.

Kathryn Sears
Kathryn’s grateful to perform in Voices United. She’s a tattoo artist at Lowk’Ai Collective, and a theatre enthusiast. Their recent credits include: Cinderella, Into The Woods (2025), 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (2024) Magenta, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (2024) and Cut Dancer, A Chorus Line (2023). Lynn Doxtater
Lynn Doxtater has been singing since a young age; Participating in Broadway, Gospel, and Classical choirs. In recent years, she has enjoyed singing with Burloak Theatre Group in their panto "Freezing" and as Mrs. Cohen in RENT with Theatre Ancaster. She would like to thank Jennifer for her incredible vocal knowledge, her positivity, and her encouragement. Thank you to her family for their constant support!

Maddison Williams
Maddison Williams is a Canadian Actor from Burlington, Ontario. She is currently in her third year in the BFA Acting program at the University of Windsor, studying her passion that is the arts. She has been singing with Singer Studio since 2022. Maddison has had the pleasure of participating both on and off stage in multiple productions this past year. As well as interning with the Stratford Festival and filming her first television series, The Strange Tales of the South Shore. Maddison is thankful for her family and friends who continue to support her through her journey as a growing artist! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Marley is a passionate performer who adores music. She loves animals and finds joy in all things art-related. Michelle Woolner
Michelle is thrilled to join Singer Studio! With a passion for music, Michelle has been learning piano since 5 and is currently working on RCM Level 10. She also started learning violin at age 7 and she is right now at RCM Level 9. Michelle’s journey in singing started with Hamilton Children’s Choir and she’s been taking private vocal training since 7. At age 10, she developed huge passion for musical theatre and started performing at Theatre Ancaster. Michelle has also competed in HMF, OMFA, and NATS Ontario Vocal Showcase since 2021.

Nora Greenspoon
Nora is so excited to join her big sister on stage for her first Singer’s Studio concert. Her credits include: The Sound of Music as Marta (Main Stage, Theatre Ancaster), GLEE! (Theatre Ancaster), OVAF provincial finalist. Nora loves to dance at the HCA and sing. She also swims competitively. Nora would like to express her heartfelt thanks to her music teachers. A big thank you to her amazing family and friends.

Norah Green
Norah has been studying with Jen for almost a year, and is very excited for her second studio recital! She has a natural love for singing, and has participated in various choirs in the community. She also participated in the Hamilton Music Festival in spring 2025.

Peyton Brookes
Peyton brookes is very excited to be in another one of Jen’s concerts! This year she was part of the cast for theatre Ancaster’s “Glee” and top placements at the Hamilton Music Festival. She is currently in Curtain call for Legally Blonde, playing Serena. And also in theatre Ancaster’s Drowsy Chaperone, playing ensemble! She is very excited and grateful to be in the concert and surrounded by so many talented people! She wants to thank all her friends and family for always supporting her, and of course Jen and Tony!

Rob Brookes
Rob is thrilled to be participating in his second concert with Singer Studio! He has a love and passion for singing and since joining Jen in January 2025, has been able to broaden his horizons because of doors that singing with Jen have opened. In addition to this concert, Rob is also performing with the Crown Point Players theatrical group, which was co-founded by one of the other VERY talented students of Singer Studio! He is very excited to be cast in the upcoming production of Dogfight being put on by Crown Point Players in February!! Even at 51 yrs old, this is still the beginning for Rob and as he continues to learn, and grow his skills, he will keep jumping in head first and exploring exciting new endeavours!

Rose Connelly
Guided by her love for pop music and icons like Mariah Carey and Britney Spears, Rose is proud to make her concert debut. A new voice with old-school influences, she’s just getting started.

Samantha Craig
Sam is thrilled to be singing for you again this evening. This is her second year with Singer Studio and has had a full year of singing at her school. Highlight was recording a solo song for a local sports team. Merry Christmas!

Sofie Greenspoon
Sofie is thrilled to be taking part in her first Singer’s Studio concert. Her credits include: The world premiere of Pollyanna the Musical, A Christmas Story (Theatre Aquarius), The Sound of Music as Louisa, Oliver! (Main Stage, Theatre Ancaster), GLEE!, Pirates of Penzance Jr. (Theatre Ancaster), OVAF provincial finalist. Sofie would like to express her heartfelt thanks to her music teachers. Her passion for the performing arts is evident, as she enjoys singing, playing piano and guitar, and dancing. She extends a big thank you to her family and friends.

Spencer Yen
Spencer is in grade 7 at Strata Montessori. She loves performing and has vocal experience with the Hamilton Children's Choir and Theatre Ancaster. She is thrilled to be a student at Singer Studio! In 2025 she presented with MMUN at the United Nations in NYC, and got to watch Wicked on Broadway. She loves animals, art and playing basketball with Ancaster Blitz. Spencer would like to thank Jen for being an incredible vocal coach and her family for supporting her!

Vienna Cloutier
Vienna is so excited to join Singer Studio! Credits include her role as Oliver Twist in Theatre Ancaster's Oliver! Most recently, Vienna portrayed Brigitta in The Sound of Music. With a passion for the arts, Vienna has been studying dance, musical theatre, voice, and piano since the age of three.

Christabel Pinto
Music is Christabel’s life! She is a much sought after Music Director and Collaborative Pianist who accompanies and coaches for many string and voice studios.
Christabel has 45 years experience as a choral director, organist and accompanist.
She was the Music Director at StoneyCreek United church for 31 years, and started a new position at St. Augustine’s Parish in 2022.
She obtained a B.A from McMaster University, and a B.Ed from Brock University.
Christabel is the recipient of several awards, including: The Lee Hepner Award, The Margaret Oswald Memorial, Intermediate Finalist for the Hamilton Kiwanis Festival (3 consecutive years), and the winner of the Reginald Bedford Gold Medal. Christabel teaches at Theatre Aquarius and is the accompanist for the Tempus Chorus in Oakville.

Jennifer Budd
Jennifer is the owner and vocal coach of Singer Studio (you can read her bio in the about section of the website). She is extremely proud of each performer and is thrilled to have you all here. Special thanks to the singers’ families & friends, you are an integral part of their journey — I appreciate you. To my Mum & Dad, thank you for supporting my dreams and for helping with the concession stand. To my bestie, Emily for capturing these special moments [www.emily-elizabeth.ca].
